Week 1, Term 3

Could all parents who have seen this homework page and are aware of the expectations please +1 or comment on this homework post.
  • +1 on the Google+ share or simply writing 'seen & aware' is sufficient. (You need to be logged in as your school Google to be able to comment)
  • Again, this is the only part of the students requirements to receive a Dojo this week.
  • We are not trying to be annoying, we just need to see who and how many parents are receiving the information.
Last week for our 3D projects.
Task - Create a 3D presentation of a shelter / house for your Geography environment.

  1. Seen and Aware...

I really wish that the kids could have a diary they bring home.
I'm trying to make sure they don't spend too much time in front of electronics and this isn't helping.
Electronics aren't the be all and end all of our society. I would much prefer to have a written note or diary of what is expected from my child for homework etc. This also included newsletters. As a busy household of 6, and 4 kids at different schools, I don't have time to log in and see what each child has to do every night. If they all had a diary this would be much easier. Most parents would agree.
I understand that there are learning programs that the kids need to log into and use but my belief is that they shouldn't and don't need to sit in-front of electronics at this age for too long. Life skills aren't learnt online.
We as adults survived with out an ipad and laptop why cant our children.
    Thanks
    Paul
